Spooky fun at Centre 81

A skills centre became a skulls centre for a day when members dressed up for a Halloween party. Centre 81 at Great Yarmouth had a fun day of activities including a quiz, burgers and karaoke at its Tar Works Road headquarters.
Nearly 30 members were given a monster make-over with stunning face painting led by assistant facilitator Vicky Palmer.
The centre’s skills and activities manager Julie Charles said: “Members love the Halloween party, dressing up and being different.”
The programme was so busy that planned apple bobbing had to be postponed to the next day.
Centre 81 – which provides skills and activities ranging from craft and cookery to sailing and 10-pin bowling for people with a range of disabilities – is now rehearsing a panto, Snow White and the Seven Wannabes, to be staged at the King’s Centre at 2pm on December 5.
