New Centre 81
Centre 81 urgently needs your support.
We are looking to raise £1.5million for a new home that will provide disabled people in our community with the space and facilities they need and deserve.
If you have a disability, look after someone with a disability or have a friend or relative with a condition that severely affects their life, you will know all about the daily struggle disability can bring.
For nearly 40 years Centre 81’s Skills and Activities Centre in Tar Works Road has been a lifeline for disabled people and those who care for them. A fun place to meet and relax. Somewhere stimulating to learn new things. A safe haven in which they can be themselves.
But our buildings are old and costly to maintain, and won’t last much longer. We need to move and have identified a building in our town that is ideal for our current members and for the many more who will join us in the next 40 years of our history.
Please give what you can to help us make this happen.
Our new home in Great Yarmouth will not only enable us to provide current members with modern facilities, it will also allow us to expand so that we can help more people with a disability, and those who care for them, to lead fuller, more active lives.
We will also be able to develop our ground-breaking training programmes and provide meeting space for other charities and groups in the area.
If you would like to make a donation or support us in any way, please get in touch on 01493 852573. We would be pleased to provide more information on our plans or arrange a visit.
