Centre 81 has once again benefited from the generosity of Norfolk Masons. The Great Yarmouth-based charity was presented with a cheque for £375 on Monday by Perry Balls, former Worshipful Master of the Wayford Lodge, whose father-in-law is a former member of Centre 81’s skills and activities centre in Tar Works Road.
Other donations from the lodge went to Sensational Families, Sea Palling Independent Lifeboat and the Museum of the Broads at Stalham.
“We are very keen to support local organisations, particularly those like Centre 81 that do such valuable work,” said Mr Balls.
Diana Staines, chief executive of Centre 81, said local masonic lodges had donated thousands of pounds to the charity over the years. “I never cease to be grateful for their incredible generosity,” she added.
