Classic Car & Bike Run and Show 2019
We are delighted to be organising the 8th Classic Car & Bike Run and Show this year and inviting anyone with a vintage, classic or unusual car or bike to join us for the day. I am also delighted to confirm that we are part of the Great Yarmouth Wheels Festival and our show event will be back at Marina Gardens, adjacent to the Sealife Centre.
The 8th Centre 81 Classic Car & Bike Run is heading north and we are once again starting at Runton Road Car Park on the beautiful cliff top of Cromer. We are currently working on a special 60 mile, or thereabouts, idyllic route which we will hopefully announce in the very near future. What I can say is it will take in some of the beautiful coastal villages, give some of our most avid supporters the chance to reminisce and a provide a wonderful opportunity to ‘parade your pride and joys’.
For our much loved ‘Bacon Butty’ stop we are returning to the lovely Queen Elizabeth Hall at Worstead that hosted us so wonderfully last year. The hall has ample comfort facilities, a large beautiful field for parking and even a fantastic play area for young (and old) to let a little steam off in. Hot food, including vegetarian options, and drinks, will be available all to their usual high standard.
As with our previous events we will end our run and host the show on Great Yarmouth seafront as one of the main attractions of the Great Yarmouth Wheels Festival. For everyone who attended last year you will be aware of the challenges we faced with where our show was sited. This year I can confirm we are back at Marina Gardens, adjacent to the Sealife Centre – so bring your fully loaded picnic baskets, blankets and chairs and enjoy a wonderful afternoon relaxing and talking cars! We are hoping to make it a year to remember where all the family can enjoy a spectacular day out in glorious sunshine!!
The Run and Show are open to everyone with a classic or unusual vehicle, large or small. We would also like to invite to the run anyone attending the Great Yarmouth Wheels Festival Weekend. If you are part of another vehicle display/event over weekend 6th/7th July but would like to join us Sunday morning to give your pride and joy a run out, then we would love to see you. Just complete the registration form by ticking run only.
